Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Process payroll using QuickBooks and ADP systems
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Generate client-facing financial reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support audit requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Strong understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment
