Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely payment processing
- Conduct monthly/quarterly reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledgers
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decisions
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and compliance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
