Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and internal controls
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly pay distribution to employees
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement corrective actions
- Develop and optimize financial processes using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
