Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks systems
- Verify timesheets, calculate overtime, and ensure accurate tax withholdings
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and payroll journal entries
- Collaborate with HR department on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Support year-end tax forms preparation (W-2s, 1099s)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Eagerness to learn payroll processing systems and regulations
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
