Responsibilities
- Process accurate and timely payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and deductions in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Handle new hire onboarding and employee data maintenance in HRIS systems
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Assist in month-end closing and payroll audit preparation
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on benefits administration
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to complete paid payroll certification training
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Memphis office
- No prior payroll experience necessary – we train!
