Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and bank records to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with clear risk assessments and recommendations
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy of documentation
- Collaborate with senior analysts to understand industry-specific risk factors
- Maintain detailed records in loan origination systems and compliance databases
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop financial modeling skills
- Support cross-functional teams in loan committee presentations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic functions, formulas, and data organization)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
