Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger system, including journal entries.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (or internship experience).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
