Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Process payroll entries and assist with employee time tracking.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary data.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in an office setting or internship in accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
