Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our clients.
- Support the payroll process by collecting timesheets, verifying data, and preparing remittance reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any outstanding discrepancies or billing errors.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant.
- Assist senior accountants with special projects and month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- No prior professional experience is required; we value potential and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles (GAAP) is a strong plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
