Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
- Assist in the monthly bank reconciliation process to ensure all transactions are accounted for accurately.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Maintain and update the general ledger with precision and timeliness.
- Organize and file financial documentation, receipts, and invoices for audit purposes.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) to manage financial data.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
