Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, manage expense reports, and maintain the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly statements.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., NACPB, CPA) upon hiring.
