Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Process payroll data and prepare necessary tax documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP familiarity is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor) post-hire.
