Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ledgers, and month-end close procedures.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents and records.
- Process payroll assistance and employee expense reports.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and document requests.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) to update financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not mandatory.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (Entry Level candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass a background check.
