Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Process invoices, ensure accurate data entry, and manage expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks/Excel).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and basic tax documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and statements.
- Assist the senior accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus).
- No prior bookkeeping experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Windows applications is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
