Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with payroll preparation and data entry.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Organize and file financial documents and tax records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- No prior bookkeeping experience necessary; training provided.
