Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry and bookkeeping tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Process and categorize incoming invoices and bills for payment.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and accounts payable/receivable records.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end close processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding account status.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and industry-specific tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.
