What You Will Do:
As our new Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. Your daily tasks will include processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, and preparing basic financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets daily.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, issue payments, and ensure all vendor and client accounts are up to date.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare financial records to bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, digital, and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assisting with Payroll: Support the payroll process by gathering necessary documentation and verifying hours worked.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. We value potential and teachability.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy.
