Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures and basic financial reporting.
- Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).
- No prior accounting experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace if working remotely.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
