Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reconciliation reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process payroll data and assist with the preparation of tax documentation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn new software systems.
