Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Enter financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks training provided)
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records
- Communicate with clients regarding basic financial inquiries
- Support senior accountants with ad-hoc financial analysis tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly with training
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Customer service mindset with clear communication abilities
- Reliable transportation to our downtown Colorado Springs office
