Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable/receivable transactions
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and financial documentation
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and account balance reports
- Assist with payroll processing and VAT returns preparation
- Manage digital filing systems and ensure data integrity
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial audits
- Utilize Xero and QuickBooks software for data management
Qualifications
- No prior bookkeeping experience required
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Quick learner with willingness to obtain AAT certification
