Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payroll transactions accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end close procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Assist the senior accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting) is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (Double-entry bookkeeping is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly.
