Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Process payroll using QuickBooks or Xero software.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audit support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a strong asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
