Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledgers with 99.9% accuracy
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reports using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and profit/loss reports
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and annual audits
- Implement digital filing systems for financial documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures with journal entries
- Communicate financial insights to small business clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1+ years bookkeeping or administrative finance experience preferred
