Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate data entry and reconciling bank statements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Support the month-end close process by maintaining general ledger accounts and assisting with trial balances.
- Organize and file financial documents, receipts, and invoices in a systematic and secure manner.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and reconciliation documents for management review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is highly desirable for entry-level candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas and formatting) is required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new software and accounting best practices.
