Responsibilities
- Accounts Reconciliation: Daily reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- AP & AR Management: Process invoices, issue payments, and track accounts receivable collections.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist with budget preparation as needed.
- Document Management: Organize and file financial documents and receipts for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and formatting) is essential.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
