Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Review invoices for accuracy and authorize payments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting procedures.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and budget performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
