Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Process payroll, including verifying timecards and distributing pay stubs.
- Organize and file invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input and track financial data.
- Assist the senior team with year-end tax preparation and audits.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to obtain professional certifications (e.g., NACPB, CPA) post-hire.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (occasional travel to client sites).
