Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system with precision.
- Prepare and send professional invoices to clients and collect payments in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and payroll documentation.
- Support the annual audit process and tax preparation requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients.
