In this role, you will gain hands-on experience managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll—all while working alongside experienced CPAs and accountants.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll and manage employee time tracking.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel is essential).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Willingness to obtain professional certification (e.g., NACPB, CPA) is highly encouraged.
