Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and account reconciliation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Communicate with clients regarding their account status and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets) and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
