Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation for review by senior management.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee timekeeping records.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording daily financial transactions and ensuring records are up to date.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with data gathering and reporting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in preparing sales tax returns and federal/state filing documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in financial data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Aptitude for learning accounting software and financial software (we provide training).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
