What You Will Do:
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, prepare checks, and ensure timely payments.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare bank statements to internal records to ensure accuracy.
- General Ledger Support: Help maintain the general ledger by posting daily transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements and reports for management review.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and cost of goods sold.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is preferred).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Support the finance team with payroll preparation and tax document filing.
- Perform routine audits of expense reports.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to learn and obtain professional certifications (e.g., QuickBooks ProAdvisor).
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Reliable internet connection and computer access.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- No prior accounting experience required; training provided.
