Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage daily cash flow reports accurately.
- Enter and verify financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Prepare and organize monthly invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Support the senior accounting team in preparing financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist in preparing payroll data and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- No prior bookkeeping experience required; training will be provided on the job.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- Basic understanding of math and accounting concepts is a plus.
