Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and send invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and tax documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero) to track financial data.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
