Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and payroll support.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments.
- Assist the senior accountant with general ledger maintenance and reporting.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
