Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including accurate data entry and record maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, and receipts for monthly reporting.
- Utilize accounting software (specifically QuickBooks) to track expenses, revenues, and payroll entries.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
- Support the senior accounting team with year-end preparation and tax documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior professional experience required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of math and accounting principles is preferred.
