Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with internal ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical financial records.
- Process payroll for assigned clients with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Assist with tax preparation support and filing documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (double-entry bookkeeping).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
