Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial filing systems.
- Prepare basic financial reports and statements for management review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a professional work ethic.
