Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, trial balances, and journal entries.
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital filing systems for financial records.
- Support the Payroll Department with data entry and verification tasks.
- Learn and utilize industry-standard accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
