Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Organize and file both physical and digital financial documents.
- Support the senior accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis and data entry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks experience is preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
