Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly review bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Record daily transactions and maintain up-to-date financial logs.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
- Payroll Support: Process payroll data and prepare necessary tax filings (entry level support).
- Data Entry & Organization: Maintain digital and physical filing systems with a focus on precision and security.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and errors in financial data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
