Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and basic financial analysis.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input and track financial data.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoices and payment status.
- File and organize physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (knowledge of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general math skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor) is encouraged.
