Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input daily financial transactions into our accounting software (QuickBooks and Xero).
- Accounts Reconciliation: Review bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Invoice Processing: Generate and manage invoices for clients, ensuring all billing is processed on time.
- Expense Reporting: Assist in tracking and categorizing business expenses for monthly reporting.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced.
- General Ledger Support: Assist senior accountants with maintaining the general ledger and preparing basic financial reports.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required. However, previous office or administrative experience is highly valued.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and comfort using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a major plus).
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
