Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and journal entries
- Utilize QuickBooks software for day-to-day bookkeeping tasks
- Support tax preparation efforts by organizing financial records
- Implement internal controls to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software knowledge
