Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciling bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the payroll process by verifying timesheets and preparing payroll documentation.
- Assist with the annual audit preparation and year-end closing procedures.
- Learn and utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Excel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
