Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions within QuickBooks Online
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare sales tax filings and support audits as needed
- Organize and maintain digital financial records in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with tax preparation team during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or willingness to obtain certification
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for occasional client visits
