Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and financial audits to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and forecast financial performance.
- Process payroll accurately and ensure timely disbursement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
