Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting preparation
- Support tax documentation preparation and compliance filings
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily bookkeeping operations
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
- Implement digital filing systems for client financial records
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Strong numerical aptitude and error-spotting abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Valid Oregon driver's license (occasional client visits required)
