Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor invoices
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and tax documentation preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks software for daily bookkeeping operations
- Support audits by organizing financial records and documentation
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping internship or relevant experience preferred
